Did not know such a splendour exists!! Nature at its best. Well kept. Young an old enjoy scenery and trails. Restaurant will be an asset when renovated overlooking the water and birds.

This place is truly lovely. I would recommend you have a nice picnic with loved ones. And don't be scared to go on a bit 9f a hike

Very neatly laid out garden. Lots of information about the various uses of plants. Lots of trees and bird life. Nice Restaurant with a wide selection of beverages and food. Wheel chair freindly.

Smaller than you might think but well maintained with many shady nooks with benches and bins. Good for a relaxing day out in the fresh air provided you stay hydrated. Hint: best to go when the clivias are in bloom.

I have to be honest I did expect a bit more. The cashier lady was so unfriendly did not even bother to greet us back. The gardens were okay with very little plants really and honestly except to see more roses. The other visitors were so nice and friendly and shared their views on the decay of Bloemfontein as a whole. Very sad but seem to be where everything is headed. An example is the lovely frog sculptures that is supposed to be sitting on a "bamboo pond".
