About the garden

The Garden at Errislannan Manor is open to the public under the Royal Horticultural Society of Ireland Gardens for Charity scheme. The garden is kept going by Stephanie Brooks who was formally an orthopedic surgeon based in Harley Street, London. The garden has leafy trails and acres of bluebell and daffodil woodlands. There is also a walled garden with herbaceous borders, rose beds, and small trees.

Open from 1st March to 31st October daily at 11am-5:30pm

Amazing place, absolutely lovely people, ponies are treated so well and are native Connemara ponies. Beautiful rides by the coast across the wonderful Irish countryside. Couldn’t recommend more, not to be missed.

I went with a friend for a horse ride. It's a shame, I would have liked to ride a Connemara pony. Also, the planned ride was perhaps a bit monotonous for a non beginner rider. In any case the equestrian center is huge, it looks almost like a mini-city with parks, lake, houses, stables (and cemetery ...). It is probably the most beautiful equestrian center that I could see.
