The house was lovely. You had to watch a 10min film about William and Dorothy Wordsworth before being able to explore the house. The different rooms were all beautiful, and the backyard too. It was nice to see how they lived.

A must visit when visiting the Lakes. The cottage stands today just as it did back then and its where Wordsworth wrote some of his most famous poems. The views are just as enchanting. Wonderful, friendly staff.

My first visit to the Lake District and I wasn't disappointed. Grasmere is a beautiful village with exceptional cottages small independent stores and many coffee shops tea rooms and hotels. A centre for hill walkers. Would recommend to everyone. Sadly we were unable to visit Wordsworths Cottage as the ticket centre was closed.

Get concession for travelling on the bus! Usually places like this I kind of tolerate the shoddy parts for an interesting day out. But genuinely good. V well produced video to set the scene, love that you can just walk around in the house picking things up and exploring. Didn't spend a great deal of time in the museum but was well put together
