About the garden

Crûg Farm Plants has an outstanding and unrivalled selection of plants, located in one of the most beautiful areas of North Wales.

Originally a beef farm, but ever since its transition to a nursery in 1991, Crûg has become a Mecca for extraordinary plants. Initially originating from our own breeding programme, the emphasis has shifted to introducing new and wondrous plants from our annual sorties to remote corners of the globe.

Opening times

For 2019 on-site sales, the nursery will be open on April 4th - September 28th 2019. We also actively encourage customers to arrange appointments at mutually convenient times (Monday - Friday) throughout the year, particularly if you envisage a sizeable order. April- September: Thurs - Sat: 9.30am-4.30pm. We are no longer open on Sundays or Bank Holidays

A wonderful secret garden of rare and exquisite plants many not to be found in your normal garden centre but guaranteed to stand out in your garden, a visit is highly recommended

Just received my first order. Leontodon Rigens. Arrived very promptly and very well packaged. A really healthy plant. This plant is excellent to attract pollinators and was not so easy to find. Delivery is more expensive than others but you are getting the unusual and hard to find. Will definitely order again. Thanks! Very happy!

There was a specific plant I was looking for and saw on the RHS site Crug Farm had it. Found, ordered, excellent communication, bought a few more after looking round the site, ordered Thursday afternoon, arrived Friday (In Birmingham) by mid-day, looking fresh and healthy. Great customer service, great delivery, all in all, great, top marks, gold star. Will use again no doubt!

Unbelievable range of rare and unusual plants that you'll only find at Crug. Bleddyn and Sue have an astonishing knowledge of their stock which they have sourced and brought back form all over the world. A trip to their nursery is essential and you'll want to buy more plants than you can fit into your garden.
