We were here for our anniversary dinner and it was a perfect location. Great views and for the most part, really good service. The foot was very well prepared and presented and tasted great. The only gripe we had with the restaurant was the service was spotty. Instead of having one dedicated waiter, we had multiple, with some being a lot better than others. We we paid extra to have the wine pairing with the chef's menu but not all waiters knew anything about what they were serving us.

3 stars mainly for the setting and the wine. Beautiful setting. Wine is delicious. Food is a little lacking. There are aspects which are cooked well. And a lot of things that spoil the dishes. It feels like they need someone in the kitchen tasting everything before it goes out. Sauces lacking in flavour and dishes lacking in seasoning. Other dishes have way too much acidity. Service is really lovely. Staff are great, but it’s not mitigated by the failings in the food department. Such a shame.

A stunning location on a 100Ha farm that has been built with nature and sustainability in mind. From the art gallery, to the international in door equestrian area, the attention to detail is amazing! We were luck to experience the new menu which was exceptional. The chef is a master of flavour as he makes use of uncommon ingredients that elevates each dish to the next level, but keeps the hero of each dish at the forefront of the palate. Ingredients like Buddha's lemon/hand and sun chokes are just two of the many other wonderful ingredients used. The service is exceptional and super attentive to your needs. We enjoy the meal, the experience and beautiful views! I would recommend this restaurant for any occasion, be a family dinner, a celebration, or even a romantic date night. It's definitely worth the scenic drive to get there and the price. Pictures: langustine with roe sauce and butternut, sunshine, fish with Buddha's lemon and radish

Sharing some personal info... We came to Cape Town with my 18 month old baby, she needed surgery that could only be done in CT. She has a tracheostomy and eats via peg and I left my job to look after her. First, they told us its only done in USA! We loved the stable tour, my baby was laughing from ear to ear getting attention from the horses. After this we went wine tasting and ate a cheese board, with the most amazing view. We really needed this breath of fresh air. Thanks for sharing the horses with us.

An unforgettable experience. My wife is gluten free and they knew before hand. What we didn't know was that they ensured she was taken care of better than we have ever experienced. Honestly amazing!
