Arboretum Kalmthout

About the garden

Arboretum Kalmthout has many majestic trees that are more than 100 years old and it has the largest collection of Hamamelis, which flowers together with Helleborus and other winter-flowering shrubs. This has now grown into one of the most valuable collections of woody plants in Europe. Plant fairs, Europe's famous Tomato Festival and the Snowdrop weekend are highlights of the season.
