The foundation is the "largest nonprofit membership organization dedicated to planting trees, with over one million members, supporters, and valued partners."
They have dedicated themselves to planting 100 million trees by 2022 when the United States will be celebrating the 150th Arbor Day.
At the time of this article, over 6 million American dollars have been donated through the campaign.

In the UK the primary charity responsible for planting trees is the Woodland Trust, having planted over 43 million trees since 1972. You can support the organisation by pledging to plant a tree or donating to the charity. As Donaldson says in his video urging people to donate:
"We only have one Earth and it's important we take care of it. Recently lots of not-so-great things have been happening to forests and people just keep making fun of our generation for retweet activism and not actually doing something... This is your chance to make a difference."
