A cat among green house plants
Lots of cats chew plants because they're bored or missing something in their diet. Or because they're cats and anything dangling down or catching a breeze is an irresistible target.
Unfortunately, lots of houseplants are poisonous to cats.
It's hard to control cats in any way, but if you've got any of these plants, it's worth at least trying to keep your pets away from them. If that's not possible, you might have to consider swapping out the plants for cat-friendly alternatives. Here is a non-exhaustive list of houseplants poisonous to cats:
