Pieris 'Passion' Overview

Pieris japonica 'Passion' is a evergreen shrub with a compact habit. it's evergreen leaves first emerge red in spring before maturing to dark green. In spring it produces long arching stems of white to dark pink bell shaped flowers. Commonly known as Japanese Pieris 'Passion' it is occasionally also called Lily-Of-The-Valley Bush 'Passion' and prefers growing in ericaceous (acidic) soil. This cultivar is also part of the RHS “Plants for Pollinators” initiative to showcase plants which support pollinator populations by providing ample amounts of nectar and/ or pollen. A great choice for encouraging pollinating insect wildlife into your garden! Pieris 'Passion' is protected under intellectual property laws by Plant Breeders' Rights.
