Red Baron Grass Overview
Imperata cylindrica 'Rubra' is also known by the names Red Baron Grass, Japanese Blood Grass or Japanese Bloodgrass. It is a deciduous perennial grass species from the Poaceae family. Japanese Blood Grass forms upright clumps of green and vivid red leaves. Flowers are feathery and silvery-white in colour, appearing from late summer.
