Heuchera sanguinea Overview
Heuchera sanguinea is a semi-evergreen perennial species from the Saxifragaceae family, commonly known by the names Coral Bells and Crimson Bells, amongst others. It typically grows to around 30cm tall, with a clumping habit. Foliage is rounded and shallowly lobed, forming a rough leaf edge. The leaves are dark green in colour, with pale green marbling across the upper surface. Flowers appear in the summer, they are small and tubular in appearance, coloured red-pink. Appearing over the foliage in airy sprays.
