Maidenhair Tree Overview

The leaves on this species are fan shaped and will turn brilliant gold-yellow in the autumn. It is a pest-free and very adaptable. The sexes are separate with the male tree planted for ornamental purposes, as the female produces a lot of smelly edible fruit. This species of tree is most appreciated for its beautiful foliage. It will need water when young, and becomes moderately drought tolerant with age.
