Blue Globe Thistle Overview
Herbaceous perennial species that grows to an average height of around 1.2m, with an upright, clumping growth habit. It produces spiny, divided, grey-green foliage which is covered in hairs, stems are also covered in woolly hairs. Flowers are thistly, spherical and coloured blue-grey, around 5cm wide, these are borne on silvery-coloured, vertical stems.
