Wintersweet Overview
A stiff climbing or wall plant native to China. Opposite leaves are harsh-textured and dark green, brown when falling. The yellow striped purple flowers appear profusely on bare winter branches, in warmer climates among the last leaves of autumn. The cultivar 'Luteus' has late blooming, buttercup-yellow flowers.
