    Goat's rue Overview

    Genus consisting of approximately 5 tall-growing, hardy, herbaceous perennials also known as goat’s rue. They originate from bright meadow and sloping land in Central and Southern Europe, Western Asia and mountainous areas in tropical East Africa. Flowers are pea-like, sometimes bicoloured, often white or pastel pink-purple, produced on unbranched spikes there are many commercially available cultivars and hybrids that have been produced from this genus.
