Regal Pelargonium Overview

Pelargonium grandiflorum is a herbaceous shrub species with an erect and straggling growth habit. It typically reaches a height of around 75cm, producing soft, smooth and shiny green foliage. Leaves are smooth and dull grey-green in colour, they are strongly lobed, forming palm-shaped structures. On average leaves measure around 5cm in length and 8cm in width, they have coarse teeth along the edges and some are marked with brown colouration. Flowers are large and showy, semi-double and bi-coloured. They vary in colour from creamy-white to pink-red and they often have darker-coloured blotches on the top two petals. Flowers are symmetrical in one plane down the centre and they typically bloom in the summer months through to autumn.
