Barleria Overview
This genus contains over 250 species of perennial and evergreen shrubs, grown mainly for their tubular, 2-lipped flowers, which are produced in shades of white, purple, red and pink. They come from tropical and subtropical regions in Africa and Asia, hence do not tolerate frost very well.
