Eel grass Overview
A genus of evergreen perennial submerged freshwater aquatic plants, commonly known as eelgrass, that are popular tropical and subtropical aquarium specimens. In the wild they are widely distributed in tropical regions of Asia, Africa, North America and Europe. They multiply by runners and are tolerant of most conditions including brackish water.
