Mirror plant Overview
A low spreading, evergreen shrub or small tree native to New Zealand seashores. Bears leathery, obovate to oblong, glossy, deep green leaves. Insignificant flowers are followed on female plants by small, orange-red fruit in late summer and autumn. This is the species most commonly planted to withstand coastal winds, growing where little else will survive.
