    Blisterleaf Overview

Evergreen groundcover with leaves grouped in threes. Pretty dainty white flowers emerge on long flowering stems mainly during spring and are followed with glassy red to black berries. It is a great shade plant in the fynbos biome. The latin name 'vesicatoria' comes from vesicare (blister raising) which refer to the strong allergic skin reaction from the leaves and roots.
