Twinflower Overview
The genus Linnaea was named for Carl Linnaeus, known as the father of modern taxonomy. This genus contains around 19 evergreen creeping, mat-forming shrubs in the Caprifoliaceae family. These plants are commonly known as Twinflower or Cinnamon Vine. They have compact foliage and small, drooping bell-shaped flowers. Their habit makes them especially suitable as shady rock garden groundcover plants.
