Genus of around 18 bulbous, evergreen perennials also commonly known as Amazon lily. They produce big, scented, showy white flowers similar in appearance to large daffodils. These have 6 petals and a white-green inner cup structure comprised of fused stamens. Foliage is shiny and sometimes gently wrinkled or folded.
