Aristea Overview
Aristea is a genus containing 56 evergreen, clumping, rhizomatous perennials that produce spikes of blue-purple or yellow flowers. They are found in Madagascar and South, East and West Africa. They are grown for their flowers and some species in this genus are considered invasive in certain locations, for example in Australia. These plants produce grass-like foliage.
