Oak fern Overview
Genus also called oak ferns, with 9 hardy, deciduous species. They are naturally found in moist woodland habitats across the Northern Hemisphere. Grown for their highly divided, delicate foliage with characteristic triangular-shaped fronds. Species in this genus possess slim underground rhizomes and round, naked sporangia clusters on the underside of the foliage.
