Emerald Ripple Peperomia Overview
Peperomia caperata is an evergreen perennial in the Piperaceae family. It is frequently grown as a houseplant for its succulent heart-shaped, crinkled, deeply veined, leaves. Also known by the name Emerald Ripple Peperomia, it is relatively slow-growing but highly attractive for both the fleshy leaves and slender spikes of small greenish-white flowers. Liberty Hyde Bailey, known as the 'Father of American Horticulture', is associated with giving Peperomia the common name of Radiator Plant.
