Saruma Overview
A genus of herbaceous perennial flowering plants comprising just one species in the birthwort family. The single member, S. henryi, is endemic to China where it grows in dense forests. It has yellow three-petalled flowers held on tall stems and heart-shaped softly hairy leaves. In cultivation it prefers partial to full shade in moist but well-drained soil.
