Calla Lily 'Havana' Overview
Zantedeschia 'Havana' is a beautiful tender, clump-forming perennial cultivar which produces funnel-like flowers that are an attractive mix of red, orange and yellow. These stunning flowers are surrounded by white-spotted, mid-green arrow-shaped leaves. Arum Lily 'Havana' also known as Calla Lily 'Havana' adds structural impact to summer bedding displays in full sun, provided the soil remains moist. It will happily grow in containers enabling them to be moved to frost-free positions over winter. In colder climbs, the foliage will die back over winter to re-appear in spring. This cultivar is protected under intellectual property laws by Plant Breeders' Rights. These provide the breeder of new plants exclusive control over the plant material for a set amount of time.
Common problems with Calla Lily 'Havana'

How to harvest Calla Lily 'Havana'

How to propagate Calla Lily 'Havana'
Division
Divide in spring - Check stored tubers and when they begin to show signs of new growth, divide them, making sure each section has a visible bud. Allow the cut areas to dry and callus over for a few days before planting up. In milder areas, lilies can be divided in autumn after the foliage has faded and is easily pulled from the ground. As per stored tubers, ensure each section has at least one growing eye and calluses over before replanting.
Seed
Sow seed in spring, one seed per 8 cm pot and keep at 21 C (70 F). Plants should take two or three years to flower.
Tubers
Plant out tubers after the last frost. Space them roughly ten cm deep and 30 cm apart, water the area well.
