Prostrate Speedwell Overview
Veronica prostrata is a semi-evergreen perennial species with a mat-forming growth habit. It is also known by the names prostrate speedwell and rock speedwell. This plant grows to a maximum height and spread of less than half a metre, producing oblong, thin and dark green foliage. Flowers are deep or pale blue and produced on vertical, unbranched spikes. This plant has earnt a Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit.
