Vervain Overview
Verbena officinalis is also commonly known by the name vervain. It is a hardy, perennial species which is often grown as an annual, with oblong, purple leaves and fragrant, light purple-white flowers borne on short spikes. These are produced from mid-summer through to mid-autumn.
