Euryale ferox is an aquatic plant which is also known as Prickly Water Lily. It's a flowering perennial species in the water lily family, Nymphaeaceae. Flowers are bright purple and very attractive and this species produces large, circular and textured leaves which float on the water surface. It is native to regions of India, Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, and China.
