Went to the medieval fair weekend at the end of May. Camped in the neighbouring field (very, very basic) but otherwise brilliant. Lots of activities from archery to jousting, and beautiful grounds. Little park and mini animal but for the kids as well as a maze. Lovely little cafe and we got to try the Traquair beer which is delicious. Just a beautiful place to be.

Very beautiful place. Organised. Nice people. A lot of things to see and do. You can have a good break. And you have to buy a brewed beer. I recommend. Enjoy.

Oldest inhabited Stately Home in Scotland. Steeped in history. Plenty for all to do and see. Great cafe with plenty of choice. Plenty of parking including disabled and coaches. Can get busy at certain times of the year. Good value for money. Annual ticket is best for families.

Wanted to visit this house for so long. And finally did it. It is still authentic and full of historical stuff. A real treasure for everyone who enjoys history. Tickets for adults are 12£ and you can buy them in the shop inside the house.

Excellent. Possibly one of the most interesting houses we have visited. Very interesting exhibits with house historical significance. Our visit was greatly enhanced by our guide (Pauline) who was informative, knowledgeable and had amusing tales to tell. A wonderful visit that can be thoroughly recommended.
