Nice and quiet, plenty plants and trees everywhere. You have to watch your steps every time. There was a some building work going when I visited. Very good adventure for the kids, keep them busy.

Lovely peaceful garden, which does lots of conservation, run by volunteers and funded by a charity, small entrance fee of £6,,,,, small shop and takeaway but there's lots of places to sit , indoor or out.

We attended on a freebie day. Wasn't too sure if the kids would like it, but they enjoyed themselves. Only thing they didn't like was how hot they were by the end if the afternoon, but obviously that's more the wweathers fault 😅

Absolutely beautiful park and arboretum not far from the city center. Everything is well maintained and the landscaping is the perfect balance between nature and rustic architecture. I really enjoyed this place. :) I was surprised by some of the plants I could see there.
