One of the most accomplished lunches we’ve ever eaten. The setting is beautiful and the greeting is warm and welcoming. Lots/most of the ingredients come from the gardens; should you eat outside, you can spend your time visually consuming the very food you’re eating. The menu is unique and well rounded. Every dish is prepared sympathetically to it’s surroundings and lovingly presented on delightful tableware. It was all delicious. There’s nothing more to say, other than you won’t want to leave a single scrap. In summary, we completely fell for the Pythouse kitchen and we are returning with more family members in a couple of weeks, for another (of what we hope to be many) lunches in the garden.

Love this place - always a beautiful experience and I can't wait to go back! update: after a long wait we finally got to return. I can't recommend this place enough but at the same time I want to keep it a secret so not everyone finds it! 🤣 the service was impeccable and the food was top class. Everyone raves about The Pig but this leaves it standing.. proper garden produce with a menu true to it's roots and not set to appeal to the masses. I haven't tried a single dish and not loved it.

Blown away by this place. The food is another level - so fresh and beautifully cooked. Just amazing. The setting is breathtaking - a real gem of a place.

We sat on the terrace on a sunny day and it was beautiful. The food is fresh and unbelievably tasty. They’ve thought about the small details and the decor is lovely. My favourite touch is the monthly Tales from the Kitchen Garden on the back of the menu which is so well written 👌🏼will be coming back again and again.

Amazing find, thanks to Giles Corren review in The Times. The food was from a limited fixed price menu but perfect for lunch. All either grown in the garden or locally sourced, delicious. We were even encouraged to walk around the beautiful garden between courses.
