Even though the waterfall was not functional when we visited on 7 November 2020, the botanical garden is still worth a visit. Well kept with beautiful, shady areas, immaculate lawns and an abundance of bird life. Perfect for a picnic or just a day out of the hustle and bustle of the city.

A really well kept national treasure. It's huge, I was not able to go through all of it but it's such a beautiful garden with a variety of plants and flowers. Be sure to have picnic blankets and pillows for a relaxed afternoon

We enjoy it very much. The gardens is kept in a very good condition. Nearby. You can go there for just to do nothing it's peaceful. Have a picnic or go to a very nice restaurant. Not to expensive, fresh and served with a smile.

It's a bit of a ridiculous story, but I was there to speak to someone about having a memorial Service there and you have to pay the full fee to have a quick walk through to see if there was a suitable place for the service. There was no one to assist even in just describing some of the places as I can sort of understand the walk through problem. At least have someone who knows the garden that can speak to people like me and here what I'm looking for and maybe saying yes we have a spot you will like or no sorry we don't

This is an awesome family destination, the gardens and lawns are maintained immaculately and are clean and welcoming. There is so much shady places for a family picnic and plenty space for the children to play. The walks and trails along the ridge are great, well layed out easy to find. A great day out for anyone looking for a day out in nature to rest and recharge after a busy week.
