Went here to visit the gardens! Had a lovely day out and thought they were stunning. The lady at the ticket desk was lovely and very helpful. They were able to provide a wheelchair for my granny who has a bad knee which was great! The gardens were well kept and we really enjoyed the day out. I understand the gardens are large and require a lot of maintenance, but they tickets are still quite pricey!

Beautiful gardens. I was here on a particularly sunny day so felt very lucky to have such scenic views and walks in the sunshine. You'll spend about an hour or more walking the entire thing, the flowers in the walled garden are particularly impressive.

Beautiful views and walks around the gardens and lake. Old trees, resplendent in their spring colours with flowering bushes and plants. Food is very good but need more seating on busy days. More benches in the gardens too especially for elderly and disabled. Lovely day out.

Stunning. One of the most beautiful places I have visited. Walk around the gardens gives you so much connection to the nature . The beauty it has is beyond words. The Japanese gardens is simply amazing.Very Nicely maintained. Calm quite place to be away from busy life. There is good parking space available. Toilet facilities are available at the entrance itself. There is coffee shop available for refreshments. Tickets can be booked online and then could get a printout at the counter .

Picturesque and varied, plenty to see if you have the time. Beautiful way to spend an afternoon. I would not recommend bringing a pushchair however; it was much easier to carry the child around, with all of the stairs, and the pushchair was an inconvenience. The ponds could do with some cleaning though.
