About the garden

Step into an inspiring environment where art and nature cleverly come together. With fascinating sculptures, created by local and international artists, dotted among green sweeping lawns and spacious fields, NIROX Sculpture Park is a 30-hectare picturesque creation.

Just a 45-minute journey from Johannesburg and Tshwane, the park is situated within the beautiful Kkatlhamphi private nature reserve and is host to over 50 permanent and long-term installations as well as at least one annual sizeable exhibition. Meander through a trail of artworks that peek out from behind mature trees, admire the winding river and watch birdlife swoop over the serene space. Then, head to the woodfired grill and tapas cafe for a selection of delicious dishes.

NIROX also holds a diverse programme of events that enables visitors to regularly enjoy workshops, concerts, performances and festivals within the natural setting.

A well maintained park with beautiful sculptures. It's worth visiting, the art meets nature. There's a restaurant and reservations to the restaurant is essential otherwise There's also a Cafe where you can buy something to drink. It's essential to carry your drink as you walk through the park as it can get very hot. You can buy the tickets online or pay at the entrance to get access.

I love the greenery and seeing this much green just a stone throw away from the city was a dream. A well maintained lawn. Amazing art pieces placed throughout area. Restaurant and other chilling space. It's a space to be experienced words can never be enough.

A truly majestic place to behold. Entry fee to the park is R120. There's a restaurant and you can host a function or party. The park is vast and clean. A wonderful place to visit.

So tranquil and magical. It's like being transported into some kind of fairytale. The best 'green bath' ever. Just gorgeous nature all around you, outshines the art for sure, but all the same - wonderful creations. Take a book, a notepad, someone you need to have a long conversation with

The most amazing place in joburg in my opinion, art meets nature? Absolutely genius, definitely a place I'll bring all family that visit SA and a place I'll visit regularly! Staff is amazing, food is great, prices are reasonable... just all around perfect
