Visited just before Christmas in 2019, when I spent my Christmas holiday in the area. They have a normal size car park, but because of December, it wasn't too busy anyway. After the welcome kiosk I headed to the historic farmyard, where I spent a little time to walk around and learn about the old times. Then went to the house which was already decorated for Christmas, just like the small garden. I was more interested to walk in the garden and estate, because we had a nice weather, but after recent rain, some paths were closed due to flood. A member of staff helped me to find the stone single track bridge, which leads to the village, and I found that bridge very lovely. All in one I had a good day and enjoyed the weather and fresh air. It can be a nice day out for anyone, I bet it's amazing at spring and summertime.

If you're holidaying in the area I would definitely visit the Shugborough estate. We had our dog with us, so couldn't go in the house, we weren't that bothered it was a boiling hot day. But the extensive grounds, park land, farm and gardens are well worth a visit. The cafe is decent, the lady serving could have done with some help, but it was a busy day. Plenty of parking. Good day out.

First visit and will definitely go again. Fabulous grounds. Great for lovely walks and long picnics. House looks great but didn't go in this time. Bought ice creams and drinks, but food available of needed. Gift shop lovely. Brilliant day out for all ages.

Beautiful place to visit with open parkland, woodland walks, ornamental gardens, farm animals, deer, etc. The walled gardens with a variety of flowers and vegetables grown are excellent. Play areas and lots of interesting things for children. Mansion House, Farm and cafe and restaurant also great to visit. Very accommodating for dogs on leads as well.

We met friends here for lovely day out. There are plenty of paths to walk and the walled garden was interesting. It is quite a spread out estate there is transport if needed. Tea shop felt safe and drinks and cakes fine. Found convenient picnic bench for lunch.
