About the garden

Set high in the Black Mountains close to the Grwyne Fawr river, Nant y Bedd (also spelled 'Nantybedd' or 'Nant-Y-Bedd') combines tame and wild elements to create an 'absolutely enchanting' setting to listen and learn from nature.

An amazing mixture of vegetables and fruit, mature trees and water, this garden is the perfect demonstration of how to work with the land.

Other features include organic vegetable and fruit gardens, stream, forest and riverwalk, wildflowers, natural swimming pond, treehouse, tree sculpture, shepherd’s hut and other eco-features.

Whilst there isn't a cafe onsite, tea and coffee is available on a self-service basis in the Garden Room overlooking the stream and potager.
