Amazingly beautiful trail, I absolutely loved it, great leg workout! There are no restrooms, none of which I am aware of and dogs aren't allowed on these trails. We had a nice day, no sun really, this route however, is very exposed, there is literally no shade. I would definitely do it again, especially in colder months, as I got a glimpse of some snow! Absolutely loved it, it was the most amazing view ever & also very cold, something I wasn't prepared for.

Would like to receive tail maps when you go hiking to keep with you. R20 more expensive than cape nature. It has beautiful surroundings and will definitely go again. Staff are friendly 🙂

One of the best places for MCC tasting. Beautiful views, setting, decor and interesting history to this wine farm. Cheese platter was good and not too badly priced at R175. Need to come back.

These trails are breathtaking. Awesome views of the town below and the hills and mountains around. Trail is a little steep at certain parts so be prepared to be winded. Choice of a few trail options to suit your fitness/bravery level.

A really beautiful hiking spot. With incredible views at the top! The area is pristine, the trails are well marked and more or less easy going. I did the uitkyk - manganese- dutoitskop trail. It took approximately 3h30 including a stop for snacks. It’s extremely steep! So if we didn’t stop, it’d have taken approximately 3 hours. For the less fit person I’d add on at least an extra hour. Some sections are extremely rocky and you need good shoes for grip. And pack a water bottle. Payment is R50pp. You can go earlier than their opening times and just pay when you come back down, otherwise you can pay online on web tickets.
