About the garden

This house was designed in 1803 by John Nash and is the architect's only surviving building in the Tudor gothic revival style. The interiors have been lovingly restored by the family who still owns the building and include impressive plaster fan-vaulted ceiling decorations and stained glass windows. The grounds were landscaped by Humphrey Repton, who was regarded as the last great English landscape designer of the 18th century.
