Beautiful place, but be aware the house is guided tours only, so instead of being able to wander around at your own pace, you have to constantly stop and start and be bamboozled with information about the family and who married who several centuries ago - which to me is the least interesting part of any place like this. If that's your cup of tea though, it's 1hr 15m tour with slots throughout the day, and the guides are very knowledgeable.

Welcoming staff and tour ladies excellent. Very informative and plenty of exhibits. Don’t however visit the tea room. What a let down for a National trust site. Cold coffee and tasteless soup was served by staff who couldn’t care less. Even a smile would have improved our experience. The star rating for the tea room would be a one. Sorry Leith Hall!

I love this place. It's on my door step and we have been going there for 30 years. Wonderful gardens and grounds for lovely walks.

A truly wonderful day out! The bluebell woods were amazing as we drove in, and walking in the gardens was such a peaceful, lovely experience.lvely coffee and scone in the coffee shop,then another walk by the river and through the woods. Well worth a visit.

We went for " the duckling race", me and my son we both enjoyed it very much. The organizer's were very nice and friendly. Thank you 😊
