What a day spent in Kilruddery. Was given membership for Christmas. Went up to activate it and was met with an extremely helpful young man. He was efficient, polite and very helpful. Then had a beautiful stroll around the gardens followed by some shopping at the Farmers Market. Couldn't ask for more.

A wonderful family farm opened it's doors to the public. The overall experience is quite good and different. The number of stalls had good quality food and arts on display. They were plenty of activities for kids and we spotted a lot of kids running around admiring the animals and having a lot of fun. The house is simply exquisite and we'll maintained. Overall a must visit !

Came to the grain cafe for lunch, the area is wonderful and such a joy to visit! Ordered the lamb with pasta, it was BEAUTIFUL- especially their sauce for the dish, it was divine. Others in my group ordered the chowder and it was apparently great as well! The cafe to eat in is a large converted barn, so it does get a bit chilly, but personally I think it simply adds to the experience.

I love this place and have been going for years. It reminds me of the garden in Alice in Wonderland! Beautiful flowers and plants, friendly staff, sand pit for the children and several cafes... There are also goals for playing football and fairy houses... Ponds and wild animals... One could not ask for a more idillic setting!

I am standing here for 23 minutes now after ordering a latte to go. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have experienced very very slow service. 😕 After being served just now I received no acknowledgement of being delayed for so long. Am I asking for too much??? Might I suggest that qualified barista staff be employed as it truly would enhance a "take away coffee" experience.
