Absolutely stunning park. It is a really nice place to just go an unwind after a long day. It has lots of seating areas like benches but also the lawns are incredibly well manicured and make nice places to sit down. There are also some nice hiking trails. I can't also describe how serene and peaceful it is, spent literally hours there and didn't feel it.

Very neatly laid out garden. Lots of information about the various uses of plants. Lots of trees and bird life. Nice Restaurant with a wide selection of beverages and food. Wheel chair freindly.

Smaller than you might think but well maintained with many shady nooks with benches and bins. Good for a relaxing day out in the fresh air provided you stay hydrated. Hint: best to go when the clivias are in bloom.

I have to be honest I did expect a bit more. The cashier lady was so unfriendly did not even bother to greet us back. The gardens were okay with very little plants really and honestly except to see more roses. The other visitors were so nice and friendly and shared their views on the decay of Bloemfontein as a whole. Very sad but seem to be where everything is headed. An example is the lovely frog sculptures that is supposed to be sitting on a "bamboo pond".

We had the Sunday buffet and it was a great experience. Loved it. The service was friendly and efficient. Food was great. Can definitely recommend it for a lekker family get-together. You'll love it!
