Ford Park

Ford Park’s well-trodden paths snake past open fields, a pretty wildflower meadow and woodland copse before depositing walkers at a foliage-packed plant nursery, where the urge to buy everything is strong.

At the centre of the park is Ford House, an atmospheric Grade II listed building. This and the grounds are run by Ford Park Community Group, whose sharing is caring mantra extends to the garden, where field to fork learning and eating is encouraged. This sustainable approach to food production is continued in The Coach House, which serves freshly prepared dishes using ingredients picked just meters away in the Victorian walled kitchen garden.
