About the garden

Set in 2,000-acres, the Dumfries House is Scottish estate and 18th Century house that contains a huge collection of Chippendale furniture. The estate also has large grounds and a number of historic features to view.

Opening times

Summer 2018 Tour Schedule 26th March 2018 to 31st March 2018 at 12pm and 1.30pm 1st April to 31st October 2018 at Sunday - Friday inclusive first tour generally at 10.45am. Last Tour 3.30pm Saturday tours at 10.45am and midday Winter 2018 Tour Schedule 1st November to 21st December 2018 5th January 2019 to 31st March 2019 Generally open each Saturday and Sunday for one house tour at 12.15pm and one grand tour at 1.45pm
