We visited this absolute gem today and fell in love with it. Such beautiful gardens to explore not knowing what's around the corner. I love the curving nature of it and so many plants I haven't come across before. There are very well placed benches to sit on and take in a complete picture of the different areas in addition to meandering along the paths up close to the plants. Birdsong and buzzing bees everywhere... just bliss. The self service drinks and snacks fitted in well in the relaxed environment of the gardens and there are tables in the shade to sit with them. The little gift shop is lovely and the plants on sale are of the highest quality and some are more unusual. Gwendolyn (the owner) is lovely and her passion for the gardens shines through and she happily shares her knowledge with you. The gentleman there, who's name I don't know unfortunately, was also lovely. The people here are very welcoming and you know they take great pleasure in sharing these gorgeous gardens and are happy to spend time talking with you about them. We will be returning.

Beautiful secluded garden, which has an entrance fee but well worth it. Not very big so compact and stunning. Do not miss the massive Echium in the conservatory/greenhouse. I bought one which had been propagated from this specimen. Plants high quality and quaint gift shop on site. Sadly cafe not open when I visited but tea and coffee can be bought and lovely to sit out in the sun at garden tables prior to entry to gardens. Staff are so nice and knowledgeable. Their enthusiasm is infectious!

Lovely gardens, although smaller than we were expecting. We had a gardeners world 2for1 offer so it was worth it. Hot drinks are £1 a cup ,so that's OK too.

Making a first visit to a garden in winter is a bit strange, but we were well looked after - self serve tea and cake. Documentation to explain the evolution of the garden is good. Will definitely revisit in season!

A beautiful tranquil garden. I enjoyed the spring flowers and solitude.
