Popped in for lunch without a booking and ended up doing wine tasting with food. Simply superb! Lovely wines. Lovely platter of meat, cheeses and bread. Superb service. Faultless. So good that we returned to buy wine and chocolate another day. Highly recommended for wines and tasting.

Absolutely stunning estate. Amazing views. Luxury and attention to detail. What an experience! Wines are average but the service is fantastic! Our host was articulate and presented the wines professionally and with a personal touch and charm. Don’t miss out on this awesome place!

It was an amazing experience. Our wine expert from Paarl was out of this world. The wines are 5 star. It's a must do in Stellenbosch. I will surely return. The cleanest bathrooms Ive ever seen and the toilets flush themselves. The bathroom hand lotion smells great. Overall excellent excellent experience

Only 1 star because it was pretty when we walked in but service was awful. We arrived at 5:02, they close at 6 and stop serving at 5, and would still not let us in for a tasting. Very empty, and clearly not interested in business. A lot of other lovey vineyards around the area that are much more deserving to spend time at and much more enjoyable at that too.

We chose to stay at the Delaire Graff during our trip to South African wine country while we were on our honeymoon. The property is stunning - as Americans who have only been to Napa, this was far more lush and beautiful than that. We had a lovely post-wining tasting meal and stayed in what honestly was one of the most beautiful hotel rooms we had ever stayed in. We planned for a relaxing afternoon and evening at one of the property restaurants, Indochine. We came back from that dinner only to find that $250 was stolen from my wife's purse (probably should have put it in the safe, but saying that we shouldn't trust housekeeping at a 5-star resort unless our valuables are locked away is quite concerning). They hotel refused to consider the notion that their staff may have taken our cash and ultimately said they would conduct a polygraph test but there wasn't anything else they could do. A simple solution would have been to take the $250 off our hotel bill. Unfortunately, my wife woke up in the middle of the night with a horrible bout of food poisoning - she was throwing up for several hours and her illness forced us to push our travels back by one day (she couldn't travel to the airport and one two flights with her nausea while constantly throwing up). The staff was very responsive and accommodating in allowing us to stay another evening (at half the advertised rate). Again, a simple solution would have been to comp our meal - but again, that as something the hotel simple refused to do. While the property was stunning, the staff's responsiveness was more than outweighed by their arrogance and refusal to put the customer first. I would not recommend staying a night at the estate but rather going for a wine tour and lunch.
