We had a lovely couple of hours at Compton Acres, you feel tucked away in these beautiful gardens despite being in a town. Parking is free and the cafe looks very popular, we had a picnic in the grounds managed to find a bench tucked out of the way but there aren't too many picnic spots. The different garden styles are beautiful, we loved the Japanese garden in particular.

Beautiful gardens - not large but very well laid out and with lovely views over Poole Harbour at the far end. Various places to sit down to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Particularly lovely is the Japanese Garden and the Italian Villa area. Very nice gift shop and restaurant are both well worth a visit. Ample free parking available.

Got our Christmas Tree from Compton Acres, much beautiful, so fresh. Welcoming staff, beautiful market around. They do deliver the tree to you (3m radius). Absolutely, the best Christmas Trees in BCP area! There is no parking, but you can find a street nearby (few minutes walk).

Very tasty lunch at Compton Acres. Generous portions and very reasonably priced. Pleasant service and lovely surroundings onside and out. The gardens are beautiful and well worth a visit, particularly the Japanese garden. Tucked away on the edge of Bournemouth, I definitely recommend!
