If you are looking for that special place in the City where you will find peace and enjoy good food then Chart Farm is the ideal place to be. This special place is right next to Wynberg Park. The atmosphere is peaceful. The view is stunning. The fact that you can pick your own roses is a nice experience. Food is delicious. Service is great. Booking at the restaurant a must, even if you just want to sample the scones or have a breakfast or a quick bite. I must say that the Eggs Benedict with salmon is very tasty. If you overlook this place you will really miss out on a unique experience. Access to the rose garden does not require a booking though.

Relaxed atmosphere. Stunning views and beautiful roses. Restaurant has generous, delicious opinions. Sadly only one vegan option on lunch and breakfast menu. The vegan wrap was really delicious.

Best Spinache feta quiche ever and lovely out in nature atmosphere. Pricing superb. You just have to laugh at how friendly but useless South African waiters are, they lack customer attentiveness and seldom know much about what is happening in and around their working environment. In this case Chart Farm sells only roses at R8.00 picked or R7.00 to pick your own. This waiter dis not know the prices and told us to ask at the front desk, duh!!!

A beautiful experience in the garden with some lovely rose bushes, however, after my girlfriend and I brought our roses in to be wrapped up and hand back the bucket and shears, they completely destroyed 3 of the roses and squashed most of the others in the process. If you do pick your own roses I strongly urge that you ask them to be careful.

Lovely setting and views. Food was enjoyable - my only issue was that we were 4 guests and our meals all arrived at different times!! Otherwise all good and we will return!
