Absolutely amazing! The gardens and grounds surrounding are exceptionally beautiful. We stayed the night in the studio at The Stable Yard. The space was wonderful…bright/airy, and yet very cozy. James and Joanna added the most thoughtful of touches. I enjoyed the quiet patio are outside the studio for reading in the sun. We regretted we were only able to stay one night. We would definitely visit again!

From the moment we went to view Burtown House we knew it was the wedding venue for us! Everything felt so relaxed and straightforward from the beginning and everything went perfectly. Amy and James were extremely helpful and always keen to help with any questions we asked. The gardens are absolutely magnificent and so well kept - the perfect backdrop for photos. Lesley at Burtown House did an amazing job with the flowers, they were picked from the gardens and were exactly the style we wanted. On the day of our reception, there was nothing that was too much trouble for the staff, who were pleasant, friendly & welcoming. All our guests could not stop talking about how amazing all the food was and how nice all the staff are. They made us feel at ease, which in turn allowed us to relax and enjoy our day to the fullest. We can't thank you enough, Jazz & Patrick

Absolutely fantastic. Worth the 50 minute drive from Dublin. The cafe serves fresh produce from the garden. We loved our brunch so much that we also stayed for lunch and cocktails. The sharing plates (especially the Meze platter) is to die for. Also invest the time to go on a stroll in their vegetable garden and the wider gardens of the estate.

Had lunch there recently, thought menu was a little pricey for lunch. However, food was great - really flavoursome, lovely surroundings and very attentive staff. Would recommend.

We had lunch here on our way to Electric picnic festival. We were impressed with the space and to dine under a photo of Pat and John Piggott from Treanmanagh in Kerry, old gentleman friends from Turtle's "Vanishing Ireland" book . We had the chicken and chips and the fish with roast garden vegetables and eventually the herby mashed potatoes. Extra vegetables brought by mistake were gracefully offered at no extra charge. We drank lovely coffee and sparkling water. Delicious food, local provenance and looking forward to returning again.
